The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to give a standard of behaviour and common sense that are in all our interests; and should ensure that no individual household acts to the detriment of neighbours and fellow shareholders.
1. For everyone’s safety, all residents and visitors should drive with care and not exceed a speed of 20 mph across Temple Road, Unity Road, and 10 mph across Kensington Court and the southern half of Abbot’s Hall Road.
2. Only residents, their actual visitors and vehicles servicing resident’s houses should park in the roads. Please ask your visitors to display a valid visitor’s permits.
3. Please display a parking permit in your vehicle when parked on the road. Permits can be requested by email at info@thrsltd.co.uk
4. Residents & visitors should park with consideration – please do not impede access to other properties when parking.
5. To avoid structural damage, vehicles should not be parked on kerbs or pavements.
6. Please report any damage to the roads or pavements to the Directors of THRS at info@thrsltd.co.uk
7. Caravans / Motorhomes may be parked for loading and unloading but should be removed as soon as practicable.
8. Residents are requested to keep the area of pavement, verge, gutter and road outside their frontage clean, tidy and free of weeds.
9. Property owners should trim garden shrubs and trees so they do not overhang the pavement or interfere with overhead utilities.
10. To avoid misunderstandings, residents should inform immediate neighbours when planning any major building work, extensions etc. They should also let the Company Secretary know so that any impact on the Roads can be assessed.
11. Skips should be clearly lit at night at both ends, be placed wholly on the road and removed as soon as possible.
12. It is courteous to inform your neighbours of any social event or meeting where a resident expects a large number of visitor’s cars to park in the roads.
13. Please dispose of litter discarded in the areas outside your property.
14. It is the responsibility of each householder employing contractors, to ensure the roads and pathways are left clean and in good order at the completion of the work.
